In need of a complete balance or a tune up. Ask me how I can help.

The root chakra is the first of the seven chakras. It is the ground floor of your chakra system, it is located at the base of your spine and associated with the colour red. Some of it’s corresponding body areas and organs are the pelvic plexus, the last 3 vertebrae, the anus, large intestine, feet and legs.

The Root Chakra represents whatever it is in our lives that make us feel grounded. These needs can be different for each individual person, but usually include our basic physical necessities such as food, water, and shelter, but also extends to our emotional needs of feeling safe and interconnected.

When the root chakra is balanced you may feel:

Stability

Self-confidence

Trust

When the root chakra is unbalanced you may feel:

Fearful

Distrusting

Workaholic

When the root chakra is overactive you may feel:

Paranoia

Nervousness

Aggression

Dominant behavior

Hoarding

Material fixation

Addiction to adrenaline-producing activities

Craving of unhealthy foods

When the root chakra is underactive you may feel:
